About Me
A young professional in DC and grad student at Georgetown University, originally from Denver, Colorado. After growing up in Denver, I went off to college at a Big Ten school where I met people who were just as passionate about football as I was, and happened to enjoy drinking and having fun. I eventually graduated (on time! I took one semester off for an internship … so I still count it as graduating on time!!) and moved to DC on a whim, with no job, only two people that I knew in the entire city, and an apartment I had found in four days. Big risk, big chance… decided to do it and see what happens. I’m still experiencing what happens from such a random move.
Learning the ropes of life, living each day to the fullest, and experiencing all that there is to offer … the good, the bad, the ugly, and the painful. I’ve come to realize recently that I’m in the midst of a quarter life crisis. I’m still trying to figure out how to get through it. I’ll let you know how it goes… meanwhile, you can read the blog and watch me fumble, fall, trip, and basically mess up and learn, get back up, and keep going.
I’m 24 years old.
I love to read and will consume books rapidly. I love Harry Potter and Twilight. I love books by Dan Brown and Mitch Albom.
I love music… if it has a good beat, a good hook, a great lyric, I’ll like it. This means I will listen to pretty much anything.
Oh, I’m also a social media whore. What can I say, I enjoy it.
