I did it… I took the plunge. I might fail miserable and fall on my ass, but at least I’ll have tried. I’ve been debating whether or not I want to join National November Writing Month for the last few days. The biggest debate for me has been whether or not I want to take on something like NaNoWriMo in the last semester of grad school with two massive projects already sitting square on my shoulders and causing me unnecessary and extreme amounts of stress. Then, I thought, why not? Instead of escaping as normal into the Internet, TV, or other things, why not sit down and write. Try to churn something out. After reading more about NaNoWriMo, I took the plunge and signed up, set up a profile, uploaded a picture, etc. Now… to get down and start writing. I know what I’m going to write about… it’s just a matter of doing it. Start your engines! Here’s to hoping I pull this off. *fingers crossed*
As for the Dear Diary series, I will update it when I can. When something new comes out of it. It’s not that I’m stopping it or putting it away, but it’s hit a block and I’m not sure where to go next. Plus, I can’t use it for NaNoWriMo. But, I’m not forgetting about it.

Introducing a new series, “Dear Diary” are the personal thoughts of a girl like you and I. It is a new creation from my loopy mind. It’s taking a test drive, seeing how this series connects and how people feel about it. The first piece in this series will be coming tonight!
Blurb: Ever wondered what’s really going on in her mind? She’s independent and fierce, she says what’s on her mind. Or does she? These are the writings of a girl whose inner thoughts are put on paper, into her diary. The inner workings of the independent female mind. It’s what she’s thinking, what she feels. I was accepted to a Masters programs at Georgetown University.
I am now a Grad student pursuing a MPS in PR/Corporate Communications.
This is actually happening, it’s fantastic. I am so thrilled. I’m actually pursuing a career that fascinates me. I am so happy.
New favorite words: fantastic, absurd — I’ve been using them quite a bit. It’s fantastic
