a bittersweet chaos

1. Got to sleep in
2. Managed to catch the last half of Robert Pattinson on Ellen
3. Had sushi for dinner at Tono
4. Saw The Blindside, good movie
5. Hung out with @mthelma

1. Waking up and realizing it was New Moon Day
2. 4 year anniversary of my pledge class today
3. The realization that, without my knowing, I had made a friend in school… a real friend, and not just a colleague or classmate.
4. Seeing New Moon at the midnight showing! (My review will come later, I’m not enamored with it, I hope it gets better… but I’m really glad I got to see it)
5. Having Mojito with me to see New Moon!
6. Having great seats for the movie!
7. Getting out of the movie and realizing that the busses were still running, we caught the last bus of the night… this mean not having to try to flag down a cab, which is nearly impossible at 2:30am and when trying to compete with 300 other people for a cab.
8. The New Moon frenzy on twitter, and having all my tweethearts all over the country just as excited as me… oh what a difference a year and an obsessions with Twilight can make.

1. Sleep
2. Delicious chicken bake for dinner
3. Made a yummy egg scramble with tomatoes, avocados, onions, and black olives
4. Finally finished the chapter in my story for NaNoWriMo
5. 24 hours until New Moon … I am SO freaking excited!

1. Slept in
2. Not having anything major to do today
3. A decent group meeting
4. Mojito graciously bought my dinner tonight because I’m the idiot that forgot her wallet, and forgot she forgot it twice. *facepalm*
5. Hanging out with Mojito… it was fantastic seeing her and catching up!! It’s always a great time with her.
6. Spoke with two of my cousins today… they both called to “catch up” and see how I was going because they hadn’t talked to me so long. It was odd because the one called right after the other.
7. A random message from a friend I haven’t talked to in months… it was good to hear from him.

What a day. I am thoroughly exhausted and completely out of steam.  I got only three hours of sleep last night, and was up at 7am this morning, attended an 8am meeting, and followed it all up by going to Tryst in order to make some progress on my ethics paper.  There was this incredibly annoying guy sitting next to me who kept shaking his leg, therefore shaking the entire bench we were all sitting on. I wanted to punch him in the face. So I packed up my stuff and came home. My excuse is I didn’t wanna start nuthin’ … haha. There were still many graces today. So, let’s move onto that instead, shall we?

1. Pulled off waking up on time for my 8am meeting with my M team and professor.
2. Best part? I missed my original bus and had to take a later one, and somehow managed to still get to the meeting 10 minutes early, awesome.
3. So much coffee
4. Strawberry waffles
5. Finishing my ethics paper on time
6. Making it to school on time
7. Finding a room to work in because another group stole my reserved room
8. The metro, due to an emergency, made their last stop at Farragut West, which was luckily my stop.
9. Staying on the metro to wait out the delay, instead of running off and finding a bus. It worked to my advantage in the end.
10. New episode of Big Bang Theory!! It was awesome!!!

And I leave you with this gorgeous man, who I shall go dream about now.
